Villa Goelet is a great option if you don’t want to drive too far in France and also enjoy village life during your stay. It is situated in the centre of the lovely village of Plouescat, just 30 minutes’ drive from Roscoff ferry port. From the property it is just a short stroll to the bakery for fresh bread in the morning, as well as a selection of other village shops. Also every Saturday there is a lively market in and around the outstanding timber-framed market hall dating from the early 15th Century.
What is also remarkable about this property is its unusually large heated pool, which is not overlooked and has a partially retractable cover, allowing you to enjoy the pool in all weathers. You won’t see many of these in Brittany!
The house sleeps up to 12 people with one bedroom on the ground floor, three on the first floor and a fantastic large bedroom on the second floor with two double beds and fitness equipment. A real hideout for children or teenagers.
Because the property is in a central location it is important to mention that there is private parking space (for up to two cars) and free off-street parking spaces next to the property.
There is a fantastic choice of beaches less than 3km from the property – a short drive or a pleasant bike ride. Plage de Porsgwen has a relaxed atmosphere thanks to its very own café-restaurant. Here it is possible to play beach-volley but activities are usually more based around games for children, fishing, taking a nap in the dunes or simply strolling along the shore. In contrast Porsmeur beach will appeal to those seeking various water sports.
Property size: 210m².
