“We had a wonderful family holiday at Oasis des Jardins, booked through Select Villas. The process from start to end was incredibly easy and Christophe was very helpful and provided us with all the info we needed to ensure we chose the right villa to suit us. The complex is very clean, modern and safe. Check in at reception was simple and they explained everything that we would need to ensure we had a stressless stay. The villa itself was fantastic. The facilities were great and the pool was amazing. The children loved it! The location was also very good. Close to Sables D’Olonne and its wonderful beaches and restaurants. I would highly recommend Select Villas and Oasis Des Jardins for anyone wanting a tranquil villa holiday with lots to do in the surrounding areas.”

“Villa
The villa was great, good layout, plenty of seating (inside and out) and plenty of equipment commensurate with a 2 week break. We would definitely return, and since my parents unfortunately were unable to come in the end – so we are already discussing same location for next year.
The awning over the outside seating area was fantastic and made the outside a really ‘usable’ space in hot weather.
The pool was great – especially as it was heated.
The electric blinds that ‘closed’ the house are a great feature and made you feel very secure.
Suggestions
I’d suggest getting some glasses/ plates that are suitable for outside use (good quality plastic/ not childrens beakers).
The pool was cleaned once a week, albeit a line was left around the waterline that looked dirty. Literature of suggestions on how to wipe this down would be useful as it was offputting and made the pool look unclean.
For 6 of us for extended period a separate freezer (perhaps in the outside pump house) would be useful for ice/ icecreams etc.
Wider resort
The one way system was great and we felt it safe for our daughter to ride her bicycle around.
We spent most days at beach.
I shall be in contact about next year, and would like to know if there are any early booking promotions or return discounts.”

“We had a lovely holiday thank you. The villa was very nice and located in a good spot. The children had a nice time. Beaches are lovely and the promenade was fabulous! We visited the zoo and Puy Du Fou, some towns etc. Was a really great experience, we had been to Puy Du Fou a few years back as well, really recommend for new visitors! I love the supermarkets and the shops there, so nice! – spent too much of course! Reception staff were friendly- the only thing I would say is they could store some fresh milk. It was really nice Christophe, thank you for all your help and I am sure we will all be in touch again.”

“We had an enjoyable holiday in France. The Villa Sophora was spacious downstairs but the two upstairs bedrooms were smaller than we had anticipated. There kitchen and cooking facilities were adequate but we think it could benefit from some additional cutlery. We enjoyed the pool and garden – one downside for us is that the garden wasn’t fully enclosed which was a minor issue but would have been preferable due to us having the dog. Oasis Les Jardins overall is pleasant and quiet. The playground, tennis courts and mini golf are all in need of tidying up. There is also the unused communal pool which is just collecting debris. We used the snack bar on our last night and enjoyed our food. On arrival we were provided with an inventory and were asked to check against the villa contents – the list was quite long and this isn’t something that we’ve had to do previously when in self catering accommodation. We were very grateful for your help in arranging the vet appointment- the vets was easy to find and they were very efficient. Overall we were happy with the accommodation but would have preferred to have been closer to Les Sables d’olonne – shorter walking distance. We are considering returning to France next year so we will view your site for availability.”

“The villa in the Vendee was absolutely perfect for our needs thank you. It was easy to find and beautifully presented. We were a bit worried about the check in time – 5pm on the Saturday as the reception was due to close at 6pm. However, we arrived early at about 4pm and we were allowed in immediately. The grounds were in great condition and we appreciated the closure for our puppy. The rooms were adequate for our needs and very comfortable. The pool was a welcome temperature and very refreshing in the heat! My only negative was that there was a charge to use the tennis court. However, we did hire it and had great fun, so it cant have bothered me that much!! All in all, great villa, great location and the staff I spoke to were all delightful. Would definitely recommend!”

“Once again we had a fabulous time in Oasis Les Jardins resort. The fantastic villa was very well equipped with a beautiful private garden, lovely pool and the added bonus a boules court. We had a couple of minor issues on arrival with bulbs gone and a broken glass shelf in the fridge but these were mostly quickly resolved via the reception team who were extremely helpful. Unfortunately the pool light had gone and they were unable to replace this during our stay as a bulb needed to be ordered. It was great to see the crazy golf resurfaced although we were so busy we didn’t get chance to play! We enjoyed the other facilities including tennis court and snack bar. It was our sixth holiday at the resort but we never fail to find new places to visit! This year we finally made it to Puy du Fou which was amazing! And the girls spotted the Grand Defi leaflets in reception so we couldn’t escape the zip wires! I would thoroughly recommend booking with Christophe at Select Villas. Very friendly and professional service. Thank you for another fantastic holiday!”

“We had a wonderful holiday thank you. The villa was superb. Clean, well-stocked and spacious, and we really enjoyed the pool and garden. We also really liked Les Sables d’Olonne -great place. We hired electric bikes from reception which we hadn’t planned but we had to because they had run out of standard bikes but we really enjoyed the experience, especially as it was so hot! Slightly less positive was that we had slightly noisy neighbours for one week (talking and laughing loudly outside til 1am), and Reception were not able to help as the villa was privately owned. However, it did not detract too much from our overall enjoyment. We would love to go back to Les Oasis which is unusual as I’m usually keen to try somewhere different. I would be very interested if you have any offers over the next year or two.”

“Fantastic stay at Oasis Les Jardins. We have just returned from a fantastic week at Sables d’Olonne. We are a family of four but we booked the 3-bed Sophora as we wanted a pool. It was totally worth the additional cost. The pool was warm, clean and safe, and my daughters were in it from 8am – 8pm every day. The alarm was a reassuring feature and the water was checked several times during our stay. The villa was clean, spacious and well equipped. There was a welcome pack with everything we needed for day 1 but I would recommend bringing additional cloths, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin liners and kitchen/toilet roll to save a supermarket trip for day 2. Our villa was at the far end of the site but a perfect spot for us – private and quiet. The staff on site were helpful and the shop stocked the basics. My daughters did the croissant and baguette run there in the mornings which was fun for them. We mainly ate in so did not try the on site restaurants. Christophe at Select Villas was super helpful from start to finish and I cannot fault the service we received from him. He made the whole process very straight forward, with clear instructions and maps. This place was a great find and we will be back!”

“Villa was quite hard to find, but once there it is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday around a pool in the sun. Very clean and well equipped, the only thing missing was matches to light the BBQ! The surrounding area is amazing, beaches very close by and a choice of supermarkets all a few minutes’ drive away. English speaking staff made the holiday even more enjoyable; we will definitely be back.”

Our dog was very calm and happy thanks to the garden being enclosed. The villa was quiet, offered privacy and luxury with the garden and the pool. The on-site restaurant was also very good. “We had another wonderful holiday in Vendee! Sadly, we arrived Saturday afternoon to find the pool unclean and cloudy so understandably the girls were really disappointed they couldn’t jump straight in. The pool technician attended Sunday so we were in the pool by Sunday afternoon. Our rep mentioned there’d been a few complaints regarding dirty pools. This was a disappointing start to the holiday. However, on a brighter note the villa was fabulous and the garden as green and lush as we remembered it! Reception were very helpful with bookings for restaurants and activities. We love the location of the villa with the vast array of beaches within close proximity. Each year we discover wonderful new beaches. We’ve previously visited La Rochelle and Ile de Re as day trips by car so this time decided to hire a boat to view the coastline by a different route. The coast line of Ile d’Aix and Ile d’ Oleron were beautiful and there was the added interest of getting close to Fort Boyard! We would love to stay at Les Jardins again next year but September is probably a bit too organised for me! ”
