This south-facing villa with private, indoor pool and hot tub sits within a large, enclosed garden on a lovely stretch of Brittany’s south coast, between Concarneau and Lorient.
Situated just 300m from the beach plus with its garden, games room, hot tub and pool - where children can be easily supervised – the property offers an ideal location for a family holiday at any time of year.
The heated indoor pool is very much at the heart of this modern villa. With the living area to one side, the games room to the other, the dining area and kitchen at one end and the large, south-facing terrace opposite, the pool can be accessed from all areas. This makes supervision of children playing in the pool possible from dining table or living area.
Geelong also enjoys a west-facing terrace with panoramic sea views on the first floor; from here, it is possible to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and watch the sun set over the ocean.
The large, enclosed garden, is mainly flat and grassed, the perfect place for children to let off steam in relative safety.
The property, furnished in a neutral, contemporary style is set well back from a quiet road leading to the beach, which is just a short stroll away (300 metres). This Blue Flag beach comprises two sandy coves, one supervised by lifeguards (high season only), divided by a rocky islet accessible on foot at low tide.

KERFANY (3km) A sheltered beach at the mouth of the Belon river supervised by lifeguards (high season only) with a choice of water sports available.
LE POULDU (14km). This quiet seaside resort has a choice of sandy beaches.
DOELAN (11km) The nearby unspoilt fishing port of Doelan is now famous across France. This quiet haven at the mouth of a wooded creek with just a few quayside restaurants, bars and cafes was the location for the hit French TV version of Doc Martin (with the same title as the original UK series).
COASTAL WALKS
With over 700 miles of coastline Brittany offers a great variety of walking for all levels from dramatic cliffs to marshland teeming with wildlife, and wooded tidal creeks to long sandy beaches backed by sand dunes. Including a stretch of the coast in a circular walk is often very straightforward. This is especially easy where peninsulas jut out into the sea and following the coast path brings you almost back to your starting point.
DAY TRIP IDEAS
CONCARNEAU (33km) The main attraction of this important fishing port on the south Brittany coast is Ville Clos, a small walled town built on an island in the natural harbour. Accessed by a bridge from the quayside, the narrow streets within the granite ramparts are lined with shops and restaurants.
GOLFE DU MORBIHAN (60km) The Morbihan Gulf is a massive inland sea dotted with numerous islands; only a narrow channel connects it to the open sea. Some of the islands can be explored on foot or by bike, while a great way to discover the enormity of the Golfe is aboard one of the many pleasure boats that ply the creeks and open waters between the small harbours. The area is littered with prehistoric monuments - not to be missed are the stone avenues of Carnac as well as the delights of old Vannes and Auray.
