Cheap villas in France

If you have a limited budget here are a few tips to find cheap villas in France.

• If you can travel outside the main summer season the prices will be much lower as there is less demand (and you can have more choice). Also, wherever you visit will be that bit quieter.
• If you have children and have to travel during the English and Welsh school holidays, take a look at prices in late August. The French tend to regard the second half of August and especially the last week of that month as not peak season. So, although it is still school holidays for many, the prices are sometimes that bit cheaper. Plus, this week often coincides with August Bank
  Holiday which means you can either get an extra day off work or take less holiday entitlement.
• For a cheap villa in France look at accommodation further inland from the coast and outside the more popular resorts. Having to put up with a short drive to the beach or to the tourist centre could save you a fortune!
