“The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The caretakers, Christine and Ben, were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The bedrooms were mostly bright and spacious and nicely furnished. The beds were fine. Two of the bedrooms lacked a wardrobe, but the bedroom on the ground floor with the en-suite bathroom with a barrier-free shower was good for my husband. The separate toilet on the ground floor was also nice. The bathrooms were very modern. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have a washing machine and dryer. We didn’t need the infrared sauna and whirlpool, but they worked well. The garden was very well maintained. Unfortunately, there is no access to the back garden from the living room, so it is only of limited use as you have to walk around the whole house to get there. The terrace in front of the house was furnished with a table and chairs, but these were somewhat uncomfortable and not very cosy. This area was also not very sunny. The proximity to the beach is very nice. It is a 5-minute walk to a very beautiful large bathing beach. Unfortunately, the house is located on a thoroughfare with traffic even at night, so you are disturbed while sleeping. Unfortunately, you cannot see the sea or the dunes from the house. We did not like the view of the street in front and the neighbouring houses behind the house very much. Overall, however, the house is highly recommended if you are not sensitive to noise and the view from the property is not essential for your holiday. We had a lovely holiday as we particularly enjoyed the landscape and surroundings. There are also numerous nice restaurants. The area is not very crowded with tourists.”

“Can’t fault the property and whilst we had a few snags they were dealt with very promptly and efficiently. Good location that needs a car to get around. Great for the nearby beach! The area itself had a variety of good restaurants and beaches for our dog. Pretty much all we need. We would be happy to return.”

“We had a great stay at Les Dunes de Vougo. The villa is so close to a great beach that our kids loved. Swimming, rock pooling when the tide is out and some amazing sunsets. Then just walk back barefoot to the villa. The wine that was provided was appreciated and although we didn’t use any of the stocked wine this was very thoughtful and a nice touch. Thanks for all your help.”

“The whole family (3 adults) plus our dog stayed over Christmas / New Year for ten days in the house. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and tasteful interior of each room of the house. The equipment of the kitchen with eating and cooking utensils was excellent. Nothing was missing! Whirlpool and sauna we liked to use. Our dog felt very comfortable in the fenced garden. The house is very quiet behind the dunes about 100m from the sandy beach. The whole stay was for us a very great experience. We would like to thank the key holder especially for his helpfulness and friendliness. All in all, highly recommended.”

“Lots of fun in this lovely villa with all the comforts and equipment needed for a great holiday. The keyholder was very friendly and available. We appreciated the proximity to the beach (going barefoot with the children from home was an absolute organizational comfort!) and the jacuzzi for less cool swims than those in the ocean.”

“We stayed for the second time at this property and it was again fantastically beautiful. Nothing is missing in the house. The new terrace is very nice and upgrades the house and the holiday again. We enjoyed the terrace in the sun to the fullest, and in bad weather there is the great wellness area. In addition, the proximity to the beach, it almost does not get better. Again a big thank you and we look forward to 3 more weeks next year.”
