“The villa is stylish and spacious, and the indoor pool, sauna, table tennis, WiFi and TV make it the perfect all seasons holiday home. In 30+ years of holiday rentals the kitchen was by far the best equipped we’ve ever had, which made cooking and clearing up easy. The secure garden is attractive and a safe space for children and pets. The location is quiet but not remote although a car is essential. The nearest boulangerie is around a 7 minute drive, basic provisions in Mervent are within 10 minutes and fuel, major supermarkets and market in Fontenay le Comte are easily accessible in 15-20 minutes. Booking through Select Villas was easy and personal. The information provided was accurate and helpful. We were particularly grateful for Christophe’s help in finding a vet to administer our dog’s mandatory worming treatment for her return to the UK. Lucie Lamy in Foussais Payré is both kind and competent and reasonably priced. The information provided by the owner, was helpful and comprehensive but we would have liked to have a printout in the villa supplemented by instructions for setting things like the dishwasher, hob and oven. This would have avoided the need for regular reference to our emails. We had no need to contact the house manager during our stay but when we met him on checking out he was very pleasant and friendly. Thank you for all your help, we were delighted with our choice of accommodation.”
