“Lovely Villa Near Les Sables-d’Olonne. Villa was extremely well maintained and pool was spotless, perfect place to cool down in the sun. Resort itself was quiet and staff very helpful. Nice boulangerie, small supermarket and newsagent within 10 minute walk. The coastal walk toward Les Sables-d’Olonne was very nice and the kids enjoyed playing in the Atlantic surf. The town itself was lovely, with lots of restaurants and shops along la grande plage. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.”

“Just perfect. Ten days of proper rest! Christophe handled the management of our holidays with exemplary rigor. Communication is immediate and constant. Les Jardins is located close to the sea, food shops and hiking trails. The residence and the villa are very well maintained which allows you to quickly feel comfortable. The service of a swimming pool specialist throughout the week makes it possible to take full advantage of this option. In short, I recommend contacting Christophe for a successful holiday.”

“As feedback I would say the location and site is very good. I didn’t have to use reception except first morning and she was very helpful and I had a look in the shop but it wasn’t stocked with anything I would buy food etc. The Villa itself was nice , plenty of hot water and quiet, if I was going to suggest any improvements is that the Villa internally looked tired and fry pans past their sell by date as well as the fridge issue. We also had rubbish from previous guests under bed. All that in mind I would book again but probably go straight to reception re fridge shelves as that caused a right pain trying to juggle what to put in it.”

“We had a lovely stay at Oasis les Jardins. The villa was just what we needed and the location was great. We really enjoyed the pool (although we thought it would be slightly wider as in the photos on the website – we didn’t realise that some villas had different shaped pools). We also enjoyed planning tennis and mini golf. We were surprised that the larger, communal pool wasn’t open though. The staff at reception were very helpful and responsive. We called them a few times when the level of the swimming pool water sank down and they sent maintenance staff to come and have a look straight away.”

“Fabulous first family holiday. Clean, tidy and spacious villa with own pool, our villa was not overlooked by other properties. Three good-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), and very spacious living/dining/kitchen area. We went with two very small children and the villa layout worked well for us. The pool is perfectly adequate for cooling off and playing with plenty of inflatables! The reception area has a small shop, where you can buy essential food provisions, and the nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive away. Oasis Les Jardins is an attractive setting, about a 10-minute walk from the coast. There are flat, sandy beaches slightly further up the coast towards Les Sables d’Olonne, which are accessible via about a 30-minute walk, or a 10-minute bike ride. Lots of bike paths everywhere, the area is very well setup for cycling! We drove down and took bikes and bike trailers with us in the van, but you can hire bikes/trailers etc from the reception. We’re certainly keen to return again, it’s a 670km drive from the Eurotunnel, but in our experience the French motorways are quiet and you can make good progress. We drove from Oasis Les Jardins back to Bristol with two under 3-year-olds in 1 day, so it’s doable. Thanks for the happy memories!”

”We did a last-minute booking as weren’t sure if we would be able to go on holidays; we contacted Christophe and were advised that there was a cancellation and that a Villa Acacia was available. Christophe and team were very responsive with our enquires so it was an easy decision to go ahead and book it on a Thursday and then heading there on the Saturday. It is an over 8 hours drive from Luxembourg to the Villa, but once in Les Sables d’Olonne it was easy to get there. The Villa Acacia was perfect for us, a family of 4 and a pet dog, the kids 6 and 4 loved the place too; they enjoyed the pool and the stay so much; we really appreciated Christophe advice of heating the pool, considering that the kids used the pool from early to late in the day. The villa was in excellent condition and the service was excellent. We highly recommend it to any family than wants a relaxing vacation.”

”We’ve had a perfect week in les Jardins d’Olonne, a beautiful villa, well equipped and with a good kitchen, set in a very tranquil residence. Despite the often-cloudy weather in September we used the heated pool almost every day. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful when the pool wasn’t heated on arrival, this little problem was quickly solved. Booking the villa went smoothly, the deposit by credit card was rapidly returned, directions to the villa and residence were very clear, nothing but positives here. We’ve been to the Vendee before, as always, we enjoyed the landscape, the seaside and the town of Les Sables d’Olonne and we hope to come back next year for more.”

“We had a fabulous time in the property. Very clean and spacious with the additional facilities on site. Villa Acacia gave us peace and privacy to the extent that we used the basketball on 2 or 3 evenings only. We had a few trips into town to break up the week, but both of the kids had such a good time in the pool with each other we never went too far. A lovely patio and electric veranda cover, loungers etc meant lots of options for time to relax. We would love to come back in the future possibly for 2 weeks should the funds stretch to it. ”

“We had a wonderful time. The villa and the complex were exactly what we expected, clean and pleasant. The pool was lovely and kept very clean also. We liked having the bar and food available although we didn’t try the restaurant on site. Great location – we were able to cycle into Les Sables with the kids. All the staff onsite were extremely helpful and pleasant and spoke excellent English if we needed them to! And service from yourself and your colleagues before we went was also great. Overall, I only have positives and can’t think of anything negative to say! ”

“We had a lovely holiday at Villa Acacia in Jardins d’Olonne. The villa set up was very practical with plenty of space for a family of five inside and out and the children loved being able to jump in and out of the pool whenever they liked. We had a slightly green pool when we arrived but the staff were very efficient and this was sorted out promptly. With regard to the communal areas although there was plenty to do (tennis, table tennis, table football, mini golf etc.) we felt that certain things were looking a bit tired. Only one of the table tennis tables was playable and the ‘grass’ on several of the mini golf holes had definitely seen better days but this didn’t stop us making good use of these facilities. The staff at the residence were always very pleasant and very helpful when booking trips and asking advice. Booking through Select Villas made everything very easy and you offered plenty of help and advice at the time of booking for which I thank you. We would look at going back sometime in the future as we really enjoyed ourselves and the Residence is located in an ideal spot with lots of things to do and places to visit on the doorstep – half of which we didn’t get around to doing. ”

We used bikes all week and made the most of the cycle paths, had a fantastic day at Le Grand Defi and ended the holiday with a visit to Puy de Fou (including the Cinesceine). The only 2 comments I would make are that the wi-fi was all but unusable and the charge for change of linen and made beds is excessive at €156. I could have simply gone to the Geant Casino and replaced all with new! With all that said these are small issues, I would definitely visit again!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Jardins d’Olonne. The villa was a good size and for six people never felt crowded. It was very well equipped in terms of cooking utensils, outdoor chairs, loungers etc. The private swimming pool was perfect for our needs in terms of size and our location meant it was secluded. We didn’t use many of the facilities that were available other than the tennis courts on one day and also the takeaway pizzas one evening from the on site shop. In terms of location it was ideal to enable us to visit the local town, beaches and amenities as well as supermarkets as we self catered.”

“This is our third visit to the Vendee region, but our first to Les Château d’Olonne and this beautiful villa. The villa itself is very lovely with spacious open plan living. On arrival you can see that it is pristine clean throughout, modern, and has everything a family would need from home to home! It is kitted out to the highest standard of cookwear, utensils, household products, even down to candles for dining. The pool is lovely and kept clean also during our stay. There’s ample room around the pool for outside dining and lounging in the sun! The sun itself could have popped out more during our 2 week stay. The staff at front office are kind, courteous and efficient at all times. There is bike hire available for both young and old. Also on site is a little eatery where you can purchase your croissant and baguette for breakfast or have a pizza, muscles, ribs etc if you fancy not cooking! And beside this is a Michelin Star Restaurant…. All without need of getting into your car, so enjoying the local wine is great and cheap! Plenty supermarkets around, we found the Geant very good…We will return to this lovely spot.”

“This is a really nice villa in a wonderful location. The villa was spacious, very well maintained and had a wonderful pool, we spent more of our time in the villa than we normally do on holiday on account of this. The resort staff were extremely pleasant and helped immediately we asked for anything. The area is wonderful, great surfing, beaches, restaurants. We were there with teenage kids and they relay enjoyed the self contained luxury.”

“The villa was absolutely ideal for our family holiday. Everything was ready for us on our arrival. The villa was well equipped and really clean. Fabulous pool for all to enjoy with great outside eating space. Awning which meant we could chose to sunbathe or keep cool in the shade. Beach “Le Tanchet” was close by and we all enjoyed the big waves! Les Sables d’Olonne is a lovely town and as we visited it in July it wasn’t too busy. Great gastronomical restaurant on site and also a very handy snack place where we bought our bread, croissants and pains au chocolat every morning. We also enjoyed a couple of games of tennis. One important point is that there is a real sense that the Domain is peaceful and relaxing and it is so easy to walk or cycle around it. From our initial enquiry to the final arrangements Christophe made the whole booking process easy and really went the extra mile to make sure our holiday was a great success. I can highly recommend Select Villas and we will book through them again next time we holiday in France!”

“Comfortable and well managed. We have stayed at this location 3 times now in 3 different villas and have enjoyed it every time. The location is perfect and the villas are all of a very high standard – well equipped and well looked after. The staff at reception are helpful and they speak several languages.
