About the Property:
This lovely Provencal property is located in a pine forest, ideal for year round getaways. With two spacious doubles and two equally roomy twin bedrooms Villa Quietude is a great choice for families or two groups of friends wanting to holiday together. The villa is spacious and the real attraction here is the very large pool and lovely flat grounds which surround the pool.
Adjoining the villa is a covered terrace with pizza oven, plancha and outdoor furniture. A superb spot to enjoy those all-important Mediterranean meals! There is ample space to sunbathe on the other terrace which is located in front of the villa or by the pool.
The living area lands itself very well for enjoying time away from the sun or entertaining friends and family with spacious open living, dining and kitchen area.
Set in the pretty village of Rognes which is mainly known for its wine (“Coteau D’Aix”), truffles and the quality of its stone which has been used for centuries and today it is still very much used and sought after for stylish interior designs in renovated properties. Rognes is an excellent base for discovering the region with its numerous typically “Provencaux” villages, stunning Aix en Provence or Salon de Provence both within 30 minutes drive and within easy access to the Luberon and Alpilles mountains.
Rognes village centre can be reached by car in a few minutes or via a footpath from the house but bear in mind the path is a little steep and it takes about 15 minutes. In Rognes you will find shops, newsagent, bars, bakery and the nearest restaurants are just 1.4km away. In the summer in Rognes’ old quarry (1.5km away) concerts take place and can sometimes be heard from the garden which makes pleasant listening by the pool with a glass of wine!
You can easily access the motorway – just twenty minutes’ drive away which allows you to discover a number of the famous towns in Provence such as Avignon, Arles, Aix en Provence and Marseille, all within an hour’s drive.
